Bespoke Online Course for Businesses

After 25 years of working with both independent and larger chain businesses, I feel training is most beneficial when tailored to meet the needs of each individual business whom I am working with. Therefore, courses are bespoke and tailored specifically to the needs of your business. These courses typically work around a 6-hour class time however, this again can be extended if required. Online courses work for both individual learners and groups of attendees.

Course attendees will have the opportunity to practically put into place the new skills which they have learnt, as a set project brief is given in between lessons. Depending upon the business location this work can be carried out practically on site / in store or virtually via the company’s website/ web shop.

These live, interactive classes are held in an online virtual classroom, using the online video conferencing program, Zoom. Zoom provides a live interactive experience between the student and tutor. Students and tutor can share screens to view presentations and feedback on student’s course work.

Who is the target audience?

Online Retailers / businesses, Independent / start up and larger chain retailers
No previous Visual Merchandising experience required. These courses can be tailored to both beginners and advanced levels of learning.

  • The importance of carrying out a customer flow exercise
  • Understanding the importance of creating and installing planograms
  • Creating a strong retail brand through effective VM techniques
  • Using trend forecasting within VM to engage today’s modern customer

Practical task which will be set according to the client’s preference. The project brief is set at the end of your first lesson, which can be completed over the first week and submitted on your second lesson.

Course price

£295.00 for a 1-to-1 course

For groups of 5+ attendees the price reduces to £195.00 per person.

VMC course certificate will be emailed to you as a pdf file upon completion of the online course.

Courses usually run for a total of 6 hours, split between two 3-hour classes and usually held over a 2-week period. However, these course durations can be extended if required.

Location

Online – can be accessed anywhere in the world.

We just ask that you have access to a reliable internet connection and speakers or headphones for audio content.

Access to a webcam would be beneficial, as I do like to carry out a virtual store tour if possible.
