HTA Visual Merchandising Face to Face Workshop Scotland

It was great to be back in Edinburgh last week, running a face to face Visual Merchandising Workshop for the Horticultural Trades Association Members based in Scotland.
This was one of the first in person Visual Merchandising Workshops to run for Horticultural Trades Association since early 2020, so a fantastic feeling to be back teaching the members in person ! 

I wanted to share some photo’s taken at the workshop, held at Torwood Garden Centre. These photos show a couple of the inspiring Autumn hot spot displays created by the members on the day. The Visual Merchandising included a theory presentation which gave the attendees an introduction to Visual Merchandising and how the four key principles and techniques can be used both creatively and commercially throughout their Garden Centres. I also made sure there was plenty of time for practical tasks on the sales floor which assisted the attendees to practice implementing the techniques they had learnt.

The HTA are planning on running a Visual Merchandising Christmas workshop in October, which will assist their members with effectively implementing Visual Merchandising techniques for a successful forthcoming festive period. These workshops can be booked by HTA members but are also open to non members too.
