Visual Merchandising Training at NMA

by | Dec 7, 2012

Last week we were carrying out a 1 day Visual Merchandising training course for The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

The centre is the UK’s year round centre of remembrance and well worth a visit to support this brilliant cause.

Our training was carried out within the centres shop, training three of the staff members. I have posted some images of examples of the practical work which was carried out during the training by the shop staff. Two images show examples of product range merchandising, we worked on creating symmetrical merchandising to create balance and kept the stock levels not too heavy, as this tends to de-value your merchandise. The last image shows an example of creating a display on the top of floor fixtures, to create eye level interest for your customers. These displays were created with product that was merchandised on the same fixture.
