VM Training for Calico & Co

On Tuesday I ran a bespoke retail Visual Merchandising Course for family run interior business, Calico & Co. The training was carried out in their Bristol store. I focused the morning training session on basic VM theory principles, then in the afternoon we focused on practical tasks on the sales floor. Working on areas which the attendees felt they needed support with these included; planning the colour scheme for the next window display, creating a window related hot spot, assessing the customer flow and layout throughout the store. We created more of an open main walkway and removed fixtures to create a clear walkway through into the main shop. Here are some photos of the walkways into the store that we created:
