Visual Merchandising Retail Safari and Training London Summer 2026

Why London Continues to Inspire – Highlights from Our Summer Visual Merchandising Retail Safari London

This summer, I had the pleasure of welcoming two clients from the Middle East to London for a series of bespoke Visual Merchandising Retail Safari’s, these are immersive learning experiences designed to explore some of London’s most inspiring retail destinations.

Rather than spending the day in a classroom, these Retail Safari’s take learning onto the shop floor, where visual merchandising can be experienced exactly as customers do. From luxury flagships to innovative concept stores, every stop offers valuable insight into how the very best retailers use design, storytelling and product presentation to create unforgettable customer experiences.

One of the things I love most about these safari’s is seeing how quickly ideas begin to spark. Whether it’s a clever display technique, an unexpected material choice or a beautifully planned customer journey, London’s retail landscape provides endless inspiration that clients can adapt for their own stores and markets.

Hermès Maison: Where Every Room Tells a Story

One of the standout moments of our recent London Retail Safari was visiting the breathtaking new Hermès Maison on Bond Street.

More than a luxury store, it’s an immersive retail experience where every beautifully designed room tells its own story through exceptional interiors, curated artwork and exquisite fashion. Every transition between spaces feels intentional, encouraging customers to slow down, explore and discover.

For my clients, it was a wonderful opportunity to see how architecture, visual merchandising and product presentation work together to create such a memorable customer journey. It perfectly demonstrated that the very best retail spaces are designed to be experienced, not simply shopped.

The visit sparked fascinating conversations about zoning, storytelling through space, and how even the smallest details contribute to the overall perception of a brand.

Anya Hindmarch Travel Store: The Power of Seasonal Storytelling

Another favourite stop was the beautifully designed new Anya Hindmarch Travel Store on Pont Street.

The store is currently themed around the joy of travel, celebrating the glamour of the golden age of flying with accessories inspired by Concorde, vintage luggage and classic travel memorabilia. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, creating a nostalgic shopping experience that transports customers to a more elegant era of travel.

It’s a brilliant example of how a strong seasonal theme can transform a retail environment. Rather than simply displaying products, the store invites customers into a story, creating an emotional connection that makes the shopping experience far more memorable.
