I am very excited to start working in partnership with Workshop X, offering online Visual Merchandising workshops for their customer’s in the Middle East. On this workshop we will be covering the key principles of both Window Design/ Dressing & In Store Visual Merchandising. Understand how to create an effective shopping environment for your customers, as well as creating theatre for your customers when designing /installing event spaces in store.

I’m excited to announce that I will be teaching a 5 day Online Visual Merchandising Interiors Course running from 1st until 5th June 2020 for Central Saint Martins. The course will run each day from 10am until 5pm UK time.
This is one of my favourite courses to teach and very excited that this will now be taught online via the UAL’s online classroom platform, Blackboard.

This week I’ve been teaching  free kids online art classes for UAL Future Creatives starting with Monday’s class for 7-11 year olds titled “ Learn how to paint like Vincent Van Gogh “ Which produced some amazing paintings by the children who attended !
Today’s class for 11-17 year olds will be teaching children how to create a store window design taking inspiration from the Louis Vuitton/ Yayoi Kusama installations in Selfridges, London.

It felt amazing to be back teaching online last week and even greater to be teaching a past client of mine, Sonthia Coleman from The Fashion Brand Guru who is based in Louisiana, US.
Sonthia booked a bespoke Online Visual Merchandising Course with me which was run over a series of three days, with two hour online live lessons with me each day via Zoom. My bespoke courses are all tailored to meet the exact training requirements for each client who I work with. Sonthia wanted to concentrate on learning effective Visual Merchandising techniques for online retailers, so courses can be tailored to assist those retailers who just have online businesses and those who have a store premises.

This month marks the start of Christmas Store installations at Longleat Safari Park and the launch of the Christmas Visual Merchandising workshops I run on behalf of the HTA ( The Horticulture Trade Association )

This year I have partnered with NWES London, an enterprise agency who support Independent and new start up businesses in East London. I am running monthly workshops for their retailers to teach them effective visual merchandising techniques which will help them with their business. I am running both theory based and follow up practical workshops.
We held the follow up practical visual merchandising workshop at The Old Bank Vault in Hackney. The owner, Sim has recently launched her gallery showcasing local artists and creative talents. Sim had also attending the first workshop where we covered the theory behind visual merchandising, so on the practical workshop we styled her gallery space and windows. This was really useful for Sim to understand how these priniciples we had already covered could be implemented within her space.
