Last week I ran another Visual Merchandising training course for Charlton House Contract Caterers.
Today I ran lesson 1 of the 3 day Visual Merchandising course in London, as part of the Summer School at the London College Of Fashion. This is the first time we have run this course and was well received today by the students attending.
We have just finished running two Visual Merchandising training courses for the Midland Co-operative Society. We trained the first course to a group of their Retail Managers in the Chesterfield Department Store, then the second course, held last week at Ilkeston Department store to a group of their VM Store Champions.
Last month we were at The National Space Centre in Leicester, running Visual Merchandising training for the Retail and Restaurant staff.
During May we carried out Visual Merchandising training for Southampton FC. We worked with the staff who work in their mega-store to advise them upon effective Visual Merchandising, Window Display and Store Layout.
Harvey Nichols FoodMarket in London currently have a John Paul Gaultier branded Diet Coke promotion, which is a huge presence on their FoodMarket on the 5th Floor. The campaign mainly features around the main escalator, where they have displayed two giant versions of the decorated coke bottles. This creates a strong visual impact as you enter the FoodMarket.
Tonight is the start of the 6 week e-learning Visual Merchandising course I will be teaching for The London College of Fashion.
During February we ran a group training course in Visual Mechandising for Maison Blanc. Maison Blanc are French bakery specialists in boulangerie, patisserie and chocolaterie. They were originally founded by Raymond Blanc and have shops & cafes across London and South England.
Last week I ran a 2 day private course for Tyrers Department Store in St. Helens, near Liverpool. I was training the newly appointed Window Dresser, Debra who has previous experience within the Interior Design field.
